UKRDA statement on COVID-19

Postby Hazzard » Sun Jun 21, 2020 12:57 pm

This is a forum to provide leagues with relevant public health information and sporting bodies information regarding returning to training and play.

The UKRDA recognises that leagues will be considering the implications of lockdown easing on future training and play.
We recognise the recently released WFTDA guidance and we hope to work with them to develop other relevant guidance for the UK.
UKRDA do not consider it appropriate for us to formalise for leagues what your own return to training and play looks like, but we do stress the importance of complying with all relevant public health advice.
We would like to assure you that we are here to support you where we can, and signpost you to useful information sources.
To aid leagues in managing the risks from COVID 19, we have set up a guidance section on the UKRDA Forum that will contain public health guidance relevant to the country in which you play along with any other information that we consider may be helpful to you.
We also recognise that COVID 19 will have had financial implications for leagues. In recognition of this, the UKRDA are postponing collection of the usual Membership Fees until the Autumn.
